€11.9m SFI research collaboration targets precision oncology

Precision Oncology Ireland is a consortium of 5 Irish Universities, 6 Irish Cancer Research Charities, and 10 international companies aiming to develop new diagnostics and therapeutics for personalised cancer treatment. The Consortium is part-funded by Science Foundation Ireland under their Strategic Partnership Programme.

Genomics Medicine Ireland is very proud to be a part of this programme – 21 Partners – One Vision – Personalised Medicine for Cancer. Precision Oncology Ireland is the first programme of its kind, bringing Academic, Charity & Industry partners together, supported by Science Foundation Ireland, to make Precision Oncology a reality in Ireland MakingCancerPersonal.
